InterMoor, an Acteon company, has announced that Acteon’s recently acquired subsidiary, IOS Offshore AS, will now be known as IOS InterMoor AS in a move which closely aligns the business with InterMoor’s globally recognized mooring business.

Established in 1986, IOS Offshore is a leading supplier of mooring equipment and services to the Norwegian offshore oil and gas industry. The company has its headquarters and principal storage and workshop base in Stavanger, and additional operational facilities at several locations along the Norwegian coast. Acteon purchased the company in June 2010 to enhance its mooring services capabilities provided by InterMoor.

“IOS’s products and services are highly regarded in the Norwegian market, and now working together, we can provide even better products and services to existing customers while also expanding our reach throughout the region,” said InterMoor President Tom Fulton.

Acteon’s existing Norwegian business, InterMoor Norge, will continue to operate from its Oslo base. It will work alongside IOS and focus on project-based opportunities for clients.

If you would like to learn more, please visit InterMoor’s booth in the US Pavilion, Hall H, #854 at the Offshore North Sea Conference.

InterMoor is the leading global mooring, foundations and subsea services company providing innovative solutions for rig moves and mooring services including engineering and design, survey and positioning, fabrication and subsea installation.

Acteon is a group of specialist engineering companies serving the global oil and gas industry.
