Kencana HL Clinches Two HUC Contracts Offshore Malaysia

The Board of Directors of Kencana Petroleum Berhad (“Kencana Petroleum” or “the Company”)announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Kencana HL Sdn. Bhd. (“Kencana HL”) has been awarded with two Hook-up & Commissioning work orders from production sharing companies (“the Contracts”).

Under the Contracts, Kencana HL received combined work orders worth approximately RM32 million( Approximately USD 10,5 Million) for the provision of Hook-up & Commissioning and related services for fields located offshore Malaysia.

The Contracts are expected to contribute positively to the earnings of Kencana Petroleum Group for the financial year ending 31 July 2011.
