Mustang, a Wood Group company, has been selected by Chevron to perform detail design for topsides facilities for the Chevron Jack and St. Malo floating semi-submersible facility, to be located in approximately 7,000 feet of water in the Walker Ridge Area of the Gulf of Mexico.

Mustang was chosen based on its successful front-end engineering design (FEED) for the project, which was completed according to ISO 9001-certified quality management standards ahead of schedule and under budget.

Mustang is also providing detailed engineering for integrated control and safety systems under its International Master Agreement with Chevron. The agreement appoints Mustang as a Main Automation Contractor (MAC) for Chevron’s Global Upstream business units.
