Forge Group has been awarded the contract for Onshore Building Package #3 at Woodside’s Pluto LNG Project in Karratha.
The contract valued at approximately $26 million includes detailed engineering design, procurement, construction and commissioning of support buildings including workshop, warehouse, fire station and administration centre.
The Package #3 contract has now entered the design phase with commencement on site expected December 2010 and a project completion in October 2011.
In the company’s appendix 4E released to the ASX on August 17 it was revealed that the order book at that point in time was $247 million.
Neither the above contract award nor the Hillgrove Contract of $40 million announced on September 21 were included in that figure.
