The port locations Büsum, Brunsbüttel, Dagebüll, Helgoland, Husum, Rendsburg-Osterrönfeld, Wyk / Foehr, Hörnum and List have agreed to have a close cooperation with the focus on offshore wind farm logistics.
To meet the increasing demands of future offshore wind farms in the North Sea, economists and politicians have decided to work together. The collaboration is the networking of the port sites with a focus on “production, logistics and service ports for offshore wind farms.” Representatives of the port companies, the economy, windcomm Schleswig-Holstein, Management, IHK Flensburg and economic development agencies are currently preparing a “concept Harbour West Coast ports.”
