FG International Holland BV, the Dutch special lifting company, in close cooperation with local partner CR Asia, has replaced the riser hose that forms the centre piece of the Arthit/Bongkot development.

After meticulous planning triple redundancy was applied to make sure the replacement would be performed with only minor interruption of the fields’ production.

FG first installed a special lifting construction under the external turret of the FSO Pathamabaha. With the new hose then pre-installed close to its final location, the actual disconnecting and reconnecting was performed within 20 minutes.

Owner and Managing Director Frank Geerdink says: “We are proud of the trust placed by decade long repeat client PTTEP in FG and its skillful mechanics.”

One can meet FG personally this month at ADIPEC Abu Dhabi stand 11150B and PetroTech New Delhi stand 124 to discuss how 25 years of special lifting experience can be applied to solve your problems.

FG International Holland BV is a privately held Dutch company, located in Eindhoven, The Netherlands. Focus on creating access to high and difficultly accessible locations for inspection works, quality checks, repair, assembly and maintenance works without the use of (floating) cranes, helicopters or scaffolding. These activities are being executed on and in numerous constructions like flares, masts, vent stacks, columns, bridges, tanks, spheres, wind mills, drilling derricks/legs, worldwide, onshore and offshore. Craneless flare tip replacement and special lifting activities are the core solutions of FG International Holland BV. Complete flare works include design, newbuilts, erection, inspection, maintenance, flare tip lifting, piping and guy wire replacement.
