Brazil: DOF ASA Bags 3 Longterm Contracts with Petrobras for RSV Vessels

Norskan Offshore and DOF Subsea Brazil, two subsidiaries of DOF ASA have been awarded three 5 years contracts with Petrobras for RSV vessels (ROV Support Vessel). Norskan Offshore and DOF Subsea Brazil, two subsidiaries of DOF ASA have been awarded three 5 years contracts with Petrobras for RSV vessels (ROV Support Vessel).

Geograph and two other vessels will be utilized for these contracts. Expected commencement for the contracts will be 1st half 2011 for two vessels and 2nd half 2011 for the last vessel. The three contracts represent a gross value of approx. NOK 2 billion. (Approximately USD $342 Million) DOF CEO Mons Aase comments: “We are pleased to state that these three contracts further strengthen DOF’s position in the subsea segment in this region. The contracts are an important step to secure the growth for both Norskan and DOF Subsea in Brazil.”
