Maersk Oil has selected Petrofac to provided extended operations and maintenance support for its floating production assets in the UK sector of the North Sea. Under a new £40 million three-year deal – which includes options for another three years – Petrofac is to provide conceptual, FEED and detailed design work on Maersk’s three UK North Sea FPSOs, Gryphon, Janice, and the Global Producer III, through its offshore engineering and operations division.
