Scana Industrier ASA has been awarded two projects to deliver machined tendom forgings through its subsidiary Scana Subsea AB. The high tensile long forgings are intended for Gulf of Mexico and Brazil as part of field development projects.

Value of contracts are approx 8,6 M USD.

-The contracts are strong recognition of Scana´s continued work in material qualification and capability investment in ultra long forgings in high tensile material grades. The project awards show the potential for Scana deliveries in the ultra-deep developments, Scana CEO Rolf Roverud says. Manufacturing is planned to start immediately and deliveries will commence from 2(nd) quarter 2011 and continue into 2012. The contract will in great extent also involve our subsidiary Scana Steel Björneborg. Scana Industrier ASA is a Nordic industrial group providing products and system solutions to three market segments: Marine, Energy and Steel & Machinery. Scana also provides service and laboratory services, in addition to maintenance and repairs for customers in the marine market and oil & gas.
