One of the industry’s major players in web-based applications and brokerage services, International Asset Systems (IAS), will be showing its newly overhauled EquipmentRepair 3.0 repair management application at Intermodal Europe next week, taking place at Amsterdam RAI from 30 November to 2 December. Following a significant investment, the system has been completely rebuilt from the ground up to ensure vastly improved efficiency, speed and functionality.
Visitors to Intermodal Europe 2010 will be able to discover how EquipmentRepair 3.0 provides operators with valuable information on container repairs and damages instantly, significantly improving container turn-times and repair cycles, and ultimately helps to get containers back into circulation at a much quicker speed. Additionally, automated data transfer between a carrier’s local office and third-party depots allows clients to free up time spent on data input and error correction.
EquipmentRepair 3.0 has been recently adopted by ocean carrier Hamburg Süd to manage its global container maintenance and repair programme. With a 390,000 strong container fleet, the market leader in north-south container trades and refrigerated logistics, will use the IAS web-based software and communications hub to co-ordinate its repairs worldwide.
