Court says yes to new container port outside Stockholm

The Swedish Environmental Court of Appeal says yes to Ports of Stockholm’s application to build a new container port at Norvikudden in Nynäshamn. The Environmental Court of aÁppeal says the case has been focusing a lot on the need for a new port and if the site is the best possible, but the Court says this is not what it is supposed to try but only whether the port follows the rules in the Swedish environmental jurisdiction and that the Court’s ruling must be neutral in respect of competition.
