In order to meet the fast-growing volume of cargo and the demand for a direct service between India, Pakistan and China, Evergreen Line and SIMATECH today announce that they will be launching a China – India (CIX2 / CISC) Express Service from early January 2011.

Both lines comment, ‘In addition to providing the prompt and direct services from North and East parts of China to India and Pakistan, the new service will also enhance our service network among South-eastern Asia as well as shortening the transit time accordingly.’

The two carriers will each deploy three 2100-TEU capacity containership with the following 42- day rotation:

Xingang – Qingdao – Shanghai – Ningbo – Hong Kong – Singapore – Tanjung Pelepas – Port Klang – Nhava Sheva – Karachi – Colombo – Port Klang – Tanjung Pelepas – Singapore – Xingang
