Norway: Noreco Commences Drilling on Svaneogle Prospect

Norwegian Energy Company ASA is pleased to announce that drilling of exploration well 17/6-1 has started. Target for the well is the Svaneøgle prospect. Noreco is the operator.

Svaneøgle is located in production license PL545, about 100 kilometres southeast of the Grane field in the central part of the North Sea. The well is being drilled with the semi submersible rig West Alpha (photo) .

Noreco has a 50 percent interest in the license. Other partners are Spring Energy with 30 percent and Petoro with 20 percent interest.
