Hong Kong shares ended higher Wednesday, led by Chinese oil companies after the International Energy Agency revised its crude oil demand forecasts and shipping companies after Hutchison Whampoa said it plans to list port assets in Singapore. The blue-chip Hang Seng Index rose 265.64 points, or 1.1%, to 24,419.62 after trading between 24,243.88 and 24,434.40 during the session.
