Nexus Energy Limited (“Nexus”) refers to the article published today in The Australian Financial Review newspaper regarding speculation on the Crux liquids project.
Nexus advises that it is in discussions with a contractor for the provision of an FPSO as well as a project financier and potential joint venture partners for the Crux liquids project (as previously announced).
However, these negotiations are presently incomplete and as with all negotiations Nexus will make an announcement once it is certain.
Nexus Energy Limited is a Melbourne based, Australian Stock Exchange listed oil and gas company.
In 2009 Nexus transitioned from explorer to producer with the start up of the Longtom gas project. The company holds interests in seven permits located offshore Australia. Operations are focused on the Gippsland Basin, offshore Victoria and the Browse Basin, offshore Western Australia.
