Hamworthy, a world leader in the design and manufacture of innovative marine, onshore and offshore fluid handling systems, is pleased to give the following trading update.

Since the announcement of its interim results on 23 November 2010 the Group has experienced strong demand for its aftersales products and services, an increase in order intake from the oil and gas market and a reduction in the instances of customers delaying delivery dates.

As a result, the Board now expects the Group to significantly exceed previous earnings expectations for the current financial year ending 31 March 2011.

However, it remains too early to predict whether these effects will continue into the following financial year.
