Continuing its growth in the worldwide virtual incident management and maritime simulation market, VSTEP announces a partnership with Anacom Eletrônica Ltda. for distribution of its advanced NAUTIS Maritime Simulators and RescueSim Emergency Response Simulator in South America.

In the past six months, VSTEP has expanded its international sales network by opening its own offices in New York for the North American Market and the UK and appointed distribution partners in South East Asia (Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia) and now Brazil. Anacom will be a beachhead for VSTEP’s business development in South America.

Brazil’s economic prowess proves to be a catalyst for a surge of advanced, high standard technology and investments. The Brazilian offshore industry will be a major growth market in this decade. VSTEP’s Nautis and RescueSim simulators will provide maritime and emergency response professionals in Brazil with the pinnacle in virtual training and advanced simulation.

VSTEP CEO Cristijn Sarvaas:”We are proud to have Anacom as a partner in South America. Anacom has a proven track record in selling software and simulation products. With offices in 5 South American countries and knowledgeable staff, Anacom is a valuable partner to start growing the VSTEP business in South America. In the past year, VSTEP has sold NAUTIS ship simulation software to a number of clients in Argentina and Panama. We believe the market for VSTEP’s simulation projects is significant.”

Anacom Director, Carlos Lion: “Compared to the rest of the world, Latin America has some catching up to do in terms of new technologies applied for training and simulation. By introducing VSTEP’s innovative simulation solutions for security, rescue, industrial and maritime sectors, we give professionals the chance to train realistically and at an affordable rate. After careful analysis, it is very clear that VSTEP simulations have the best price/features/performance ratio in the market and we expect a fast growth in Latin America for their solutions.”
