Previously Bjørge, Stream has started expanding, and has acquired Ahlsell Oil & Gas. “We want to create a platform for continued growth,” CEO Steinar Aasland of Bjørge tells Offshore.no. When Bjørge recently split into Stream and Align, acquisitions were signalled as the strategy for continued growth. Stream has just acquired Ahlsell’s oil and gas business.
“Stream specialises in valves and instrumentation. Ahlsell speciality is pipes and flanges. This acquisition therefore enables Stream to offer a more complete system,” Aaasland tells Offshore.no.
