Somali pirates have released a Taiwan fishing boat along-with its 28-member crew nearly eight months after it was hijacked off the coast of the Maldives. Sri Lanka’s Foreign Ministry, which helped the Council of Agriculture and three international anti-piracy groups to rescue the vessel Taiyuan 227 and the fishermen, said they reached safely in capital Colombo on Wednesday.
