Twizzle is the yard’s first yacht completely styled, inside and out, by the talented team of Redman, Whiteley Dixon – with interior décor from Todhunter Earle Associates. Naval architecture by Dubois Naval Architects represents another long-anticipated first for the yard; and she is also Royal Huisman’s first flybridge sailing yacht.
After her summer 2010 launch in Holland, Twizzle cruised to the Mediterranean Sea before making a seasonal Atlantic crossing to savour the joys of fresh trade wind sailing amongst the geographically perfect Caribbean islands. In March she will compete amongst a fleet of 41 entries, 7 of which also carry the Royal Huisman pedigree, for the 2011 St. Barths Bucket. In the spring she will return to the rim of European history finding anchorage around the Mediterranean shoreline. Here again she will fly her racing colours at several prestigious regattas.
