Islamic Republic of Iran has the second largest gas reserves in the world, so rising gas export is one of our policies, Iranian minister of petroleum, Dr. Mirkazemi announced here on Sunday.

Addressing the inauguration ceremony of the largest Middle East gas compressor station in Saveh City, he said while today we are witnessing growing progress in different oil and gas related technologies, our country imported not only oil and gas equipments and services before the Islamic Revolution in 1979 but was not authorized to repair the oil industry parts.

According to the report of the public relations of the NIGC, he said that rising gas exports whether through pipeline or in the form of LNG are the main policies of the petroleum ministry.
