Norway: Bergen Group Wins Offshore Cranes Contract

Bergen Group Dreggen AS, a subsidiary of Bergen Group ASA, has been awarded a new contract for the delivery of two large crane units to a European customer.

Total order value is NOK 35-40 million, and the delivery is expected to be completed in Q3 2011.

These orders confirm a strong international position for Bergen Group Dreggen in a market focusing high quality and solid reliability. The company now has a backlog of orders ensuring full capacity utilization until end of Q1 2012.

Bergen Group Dreggen delivers cranes and lifting equipment for vessels and offshore constructions globally. In addition to being a part of the Group’s value chain in shipbuilding and offshore, the company has a substantial portfolio of external customers. Bergen Group Dreggen is a part of the group’s Technology-division.
