The Norwegian yard group Ulstein has signed a contract with Eidesvik Offshore for the construction of an offshore IMR/ construction vessel for an undisclosed sum. The vessel is of Ulstein SX148 design and is set for delivery at the end of 2012. After delivery it will commence a contract for Statoil. The vessel will be 106.5 metres long and 24.5 metres wide with a top speed of over 17 knots.
