The annual Motor Boat of the Year Awards by the magazines Motor Boat & Yachting and Motor Boats Monthly celebrate the very best in boat design and construction. Northlander is a finalist in the custom yacht category. “After the recent victory in a Stateside award ceremony we are very pleased to also receive this major recognition in Europe,” comments Emile Bilterijst, Managing Director of Moonen Shipyards.

Bilterijst is equally pleased that the Moonen 97 Livia, another of the new additions to the global Moonen fleet, has been nominated as a finalist at the Boat International World Superyacht Awards. “Since her launch last year Livia has been very well received, with her original ‘New England/American Beach House’ interior being complemented by all who come aboard. She is the third yacht in this line of 30-metre steel-hulled displacement cruisers, with the fourth Moonen 97 due to be completed just in time for the new season. This nomination is sure to speed up the process of finding the right owner for this exciting project.”
