Norway: STX Secures Contract for PSV Vessel of Own Design

STX OSV Holdings Limited (“STX OSV”), one of the major global designers and shipbuilders of offshore and specialized vessels, announces that it has secured a new contract for the design and construction of a Platform Supply Vessel of own design for an undisclosed international customer.

The vessel is scheduled for delivery from STX OSV Aukra in Norway in 2012. The hull will be delivered from STX OSV in Romania. The PSV 09 is designed by STX OSV Design in Ålesund, Norway.

Including this latest contract, STX OSV has 19 contracts in its order book for delivery in 2012.
