Austria’s OMV completed a deal to buy up assets owned by Pioneer Natural Resources in Tunisia for a total of US $839.3 million. With the deal OMV acquires the entire share capital of Pioneer Natural Resources Tunisia and Pioneer Natural Resources Anaguid, covering the Anaguid exploration permit and the Mona Durra production concession where a joint venture partner has not chosen to exercise pre-emption rights.
