Wednesday 20 April 2011, Den Helder, the Netherlands MARINE ENVIRONMENT, INNOVATION & TECHNOLOGY: MEIT 2011

MEIT 2011 is a one-day event, organized especially for sharing ideas, discussing issues and presenting and marketing products, projects, propositions, services, solutions and innovations for exploring and exploiting the sea in an economically viable, ecologically sound and technologically advanced way.

MEIT 2011 is a business and conference forum for maritime builders, equipment and material suppliers and related service providers, research centres, non-governmental organizations, governmental organizations and other interested parties and stakeholders.

MEIT 2011 combines Oil on the Waves – a symposium on the impacts, preparedness, responses and responsibilities in case of an oil platform disaster (oil spill) in the North Sea – with the MEIT exhibition. The exhibition offers a professional stage for companies and organizations to present, showcase and market their marine products, services, solutions and innovations to a broad audience of engineers, experts, managers, researchers, scientists and policy makers.

MEIT 2011 is organized by Development Company Holland North NHN.

For visitors to the exhibition admission is free of charge.
