Shri S V Rao has taken charge as Director Exploration, ONGC today.

He has over three and a half decades of experience in Exploration and Exploitation of Oil and Gas fields covering the entire gamut of Field Exploration, Well site investigations, Geological & Geophysical assessment.

Shri S V Rao was also the Head of two critical basins of ONGC namely Krishna-Godavari and Western Offshore besides Deep Water Operations.

He also headed the Exploration & Development Directorate, Dehradun which is the Corporate Exploration Wing of ONGC.
