The Gazprom headquarters hosted a working meeting between Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Company’s Management Committee and Yury Boiko, Ukrainian Fuel and Energy Minister.

Participating in the meeting was also Evgeny Bakulin, Chairman of the Board of NAK Naftogaz Ukrainy.

The parties addressed the issues related to further deepening of strategic cooperation between Russia and Ukraine in the gas sector.

In addition, the meeting participants touched upon current gas deliveries to Ukraine. It was highlighted that according to the most recent data Gazprom delivered some 1 billion cubic meters of gas in excess of the contracted amount in February at the request of NAK Naftogaz Ukrainy.

Consideration was given to the action plan to implement the Memorandum on setting up a joint venture between Gazprom and NAK Naftogaz Ukrainy for coalbed methane production.
