Refineries in Iran’s giant South Pars gas field have refined over 4 billion cubic meters of natural gas, Manager of the National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC) for Coordination and Supervision of Production, Mr. Jamshidi Dana announced here.

According to the report of the public relations of the South Pars Gas Complex Company, He said South Pars could gain this success because it has utilized the world’s most advanced techniques to decrease the repair time and lessen damage to the refining installations.

He downplayed possible effects of the sanctions imposed by the West on Iran’s oil and gas sectors, and underlined, “In a year that most international pressures were exerted on the oil industry, no disruption happened in the production and rather an unprecedented record was registered, especially in the production of gas and by-products.”
