Osiris Marine Services, one of the UK’s leading subsea engineering organisations has invested £200,000 into new head quarters at Crossings Business Park in Skipton, North Yorkshire following an impressive period of company and equipment base growth over the past 18 months.

The deal sees Osiris take a three year lease on a 91,460sqft unit and 91,460sgft of land outside, which is considerably larger than their previous premises of 322.8sqft inside and 450sgft outside.

Investing into much larger premises gives Osiris Marine Services the opportunity to work on bigger and more demanding projects in the offshore wind farm sector. The new premises gives the opportunity to bring clients along to show equipment, maintenance and provide training for up to 16 people depending on the course and the conference rooms which can hold up to 16 delegates.

The move demonstrates Osiris Marine Service’s ongoing commitment to offshore wind renewable energy and comes following a period of announcements of plans to invest in offshore wind farm projects in East Yorkshire and the North West, placing Osiris Marine Services in the perfect position to offer a highly specialised and professional means of support for any new projects.

Aiden West, Managing Director of Osiris Marine Services said:

“Osiris Marine Services is in a considerable period of growth and is investing in and developing the business ready for 2011. Operating in the highly specialised offshore wind farm sector means it is essential to provide the right size and scope of facilities for our clients and staff, in order to remain competitive and continue offering a great service. Investing in the new premises will allow Osiris Marine Services to plan and run much larger projects from our operations room.

The new head office just one stage in our strategy, we are looking at further options to develop and diversify Osiris Marine in the future to adapt to the needs of our clients.”

Osiris Marine Services was set up in 1996 by Managing Director Aiden West, with over 25 years of relevant subsea engineering experience, Aiden and his team has developed Osiris Marine into one of the UK’s leading subsea engineering organisations. Osiris Marine specialise in providing subsea engineering solutions to the offshore wind farm sector.
