Greatship Global Energy Services Pte. Ltd., a Singapore incorporated subsidiary of Greatship (India) Limited (GIL), which is a subsidiary of The Great Eastern Shipping Company Limited took delivery of 2009 built 350 feet jack up drilling rig, GREATDRILL CHETNA, on March 2, 2011.
Greatdrill Chetna is a 350 feet, 15000 PSI, KFELS Mod V B Jack Up Rig, capable of drilling HPHT wells up to 30,000 ft. depth in most parts of the world. She is a state of the art cyber based rig, built with the latest technology, equipments and systems.
With the delivery of Greatdrill Chetna, GIL and its subsidiaries currently own and operate four PSVs, seven AHTSVs, three MPSSVs, two ROVSVs and two jack up rigs. GIL and its subsidiaries also have an order book of eight vessels – two MSVs in India, four ROVSVs in Sri Lanka and two 150 TBP AHTSVs in Singapore and one 350 feet jack up rig in Dubai.
