Sheikh Ahmed bin Jassim Al Thani, Chief Operating Officer Engineering and Ventures, representing Qatargas greeted the UK Prime Minister upon his recent visit to Ras Laffan.
Recognising the UK as an important strategic customer for Qatargas, Sheikh Ahmed delivered a full briefing on Qatargas and in-particular the Qatargas 2 (QG2) project, for the UK PM and his accompanying delegation.
The QG2 project has the capacity to deliver up to 15.6 million tonnes per annum of LNG to the UK, representing around 20% of the UK’s total current gas demand.
