EOG Resources, Inc. announced that it has completed its previously announced public offering of 13,570,000 shares of common stock, including 1,770,000 shares issued upon full exercise of the underwriters’ over-allotment option, at a public offering price of $105.50 per share.

EOG’s net proceeds from the offering of approximately $1.39 billion (after deducting the underwriting discount and estimated offering expenses) are expected to be used for general corporate purposes, including funding of future capital expenditures.

EOG is an independent (non-integrated) crude oil and natural gas company with proved reserves in the United States, Canada, Trinidad, the United Kingdom and China.
