Bergen Group to Deliver Cranes for Gudrun Offshore Platform

Bergen Group Dreggen AS, a subsidiary of Bergen Group ASA, has been awarded a new contract for the delivery of four EOT (Electrical Overhead Travelling) cranes to the Gudrun platform deck project. Total order value is NOK 10-15 million, and the delivery is expected to be completed within end of Q1 2012.

Bergen Group Dreggen has a order backlog ensuring satisfactory capacity utilization for the next 12-15 months. The company expects further growth, and is now in the process of strengthening the workforce.

Bergen Group Dreggen delivers cranes and lifting equipment for vessels and offshore constructions. In addition to being a part of the Group’s value chain in shipbuilding and offshore, the company has a substantial portfolio of external customers in the global market. Bergen Group Dreggen is a part of the group’s Technology-division.
