Aberdeen-based Aiken Group looks set to exceed last year’s £10 million turnover following the announcement that the company has secured deals worth more than £5 million in the last six months.
The upturn in business has also led to 8,000 square feet expansion at the company’s Crombie House headquarters, the expected addition of ten new staff to in 2011 and the announcement of plans to set up premises in Dubai to service a growing client base in and around the Middle East.
The 24-year-old already employs 50 staff at its Aberdeen headquarters, plus around 100 contractors worldwide.
Key areas of growth in UK and global markets include offshore accommodation upgrades, repeat business for new modular builds, upgrading of clients’ modular units, offshore door and window maintenance, plumbing, E&I, HVAC and refrigeration, integrity testing and facilities management business.
