MEO Australia Limited announces an expansion of its technical, commercial and executive management teams with the appointment of Jarrod Dunne, Andrew Leeds and Peter Stickland.

Jarrod Dunne, PhD, joins MEO as a Senior Geophysicist, replacing John Moore who has elected to retire from his technical role on 30th June 2011. Jarrod’s specialised skills, especially in Quantitative Interpretation, together with the application of those skills at Shell, Woodside and Nexus Energy makes him a valuable addition to the technical team.

MEO acknowledged the efforts of John Moore and wished him well in his retirement.

“ John has tirelessly contributed his vast experience and invaluable skills to the company’s efforts to identify prospectivity within its acreage portfolio. He will continue with MEO in a part time capacity as a technical mentor” MEO said in a statement.

Andrew Leeds joined MEO on 1st March as Senior Commercial Analyst reporting to Commercial Manager Robert Gard. Andrew adds considerable depth to the commercial team, having assessed international new ventures projects in North Africa, the Middle East and South East Asia during his tenure at Santos. For the past five years Andrew was at Macquarie Bank in Australia and Hong Kong trading derivatives across regional exchanges.

Peter Stickland has accepted the role of New Ventures Advisor in a consulting capacity, assisting Exploration Manager Dave Maughan. Peter was CEO of ASX listed Tap Oil from 2008 until late 2010 during which time Tap transformed into a South East Asian E&P company.

MEO has entered a major growth phase in its corporate development and is delighted to have attracted the calibre of people such as Jarrod Dunne, Andrew Leeds and Peter Stickland. The Company’s New Ventures capability has been significantly enhanced by the addition of these personnel.
