Petrofac, the international oil & gas services provider announced that its Saudi Arabian business, Petrofac Saudi Arabia, has achieved independent certification to international quality standard ISO 9001.
The standard is for project management, engineering, design, procurement, construction management, commissioning and training and associated activities for oil & gas production and processing facilities, petrochemical plants, refineries and related utilities.
Petrofac has successfully implemented the quality management system for the business in Saudi Arabia. This system is underpinned by a comprehensive set of technical and business documentation, which has been created in line with best practice. Now fully implemented, the team has also demonstrated their approach to maintaining and continually improving the system.
Imad Shanan, senior vice president and general manager for the Saudi operations commented: “ Of our many achievements to date, I am delighted to announce this milestone which demonstrates our commitment to both quality and integrity and to building an enduring business in the Kingdom.
