Philippe Léopold Louis Marie, Crown Prince of Belgium, Duke of Brabant, visited the LUKOIL Headquarters in Moscow yesterday.

His Royal Highness arrived in Russia as Head of the Belgian Economic Mission represented by ministers, state officials and businessmen.

The delegation met with Vagit Alekperov, OAO LUKOIL President, and other top managers of the Company to discuss cooperation outlooks in the energy sector.

The Crown Prince bestowed the title of Commander of the Order of the Crown on Dr. Alekperov.

The Order of the Crown (Commander class and higher) is authorized by decree of the Belgian Cabinet of Ministers.

In December 2008, LUKOIL purchased from ConocoPhillips 156 filling stations which operated in Belgium under the Jet brand. All of them were rebranded to LUKOIL stations.
