Last weekend the large pile frame for the construction of the 40 meter deep quay walls of Maasvlakte 2 was moved from the site of the future Rotterdam Gateway Terminal to the site of AP Moller’s terminal.
Both quay walls are completed this year. The frame is 70 meters long, 15 meters wide and weighs some 300 tonnes. The moving took a full day.
