John Woodruff, Senior Development Manager at Natural Power and chair of RenewalbeUK Cymru, will be part of the opening address at this year’s event in Cardiff, taking place on 26th May.

With over ten years experience in the wind industry John’s discussion, entitled ‘State of the Industry 2011’ will give an overview of the work, achievements, challenges and opportunities relating to Renewable UK Cymru and the renewables industry in Wales.

Natural Power is a member of RenewableUK, the UK’s leading renewable energy trade association, specialising in the wind, wave and tidal stream energy industries. This year’s Cymru 2011 event will broadly address Welsh offshore wind, onshore wind, wave & tidal energy, small wind systems, the Renewable Energy Strategy, financing renewables, jobs, skills & education, supply chain, aviation, planning, grid issues, operation & maintenance and more.
