SGS, the world’s leading inspection, verification, testing and certification company, announced that it will be one of the exhibitors at the Asian Oil, Gas and Petrochemical Engineering Exhibition (OGA 2011) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The services offered by SGS will be presented throughout the exhibition at stand no. 1011.

Oil and Gas Asia 2011 (OGA 2011) is one of the biggest oil and gas events in Asia, providing unrivalled opportunity for the global oil and gas community to exchange ideas, network, and discuss business opportunities. With 1400 local and international companies from more than fifty countries, OGA 2011 represents the most international platform for key players in the oil, gas and petrochemical sectors.

The three-day event presents a tremendous opportunity for SGS to showcase its wide portfolio of services for the Oil, Gas and Petrochemical Industry including, but not limited to, Asset Integrity Management, Risk Based Inspection and Advanced Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), as well as provide occasion for SGS to meet potential business partners.

With Asset Integrity Mangement (AIM), SGS ensures the maintenance of the asset in a fit-for-service condition whilst extending its remaining life in the most reliable, safe, and cost-effective manner. Such knowledge is indispensible in the oil, gas and petrochemical industry.

Another relevant service, presented by SGS at OGA 2011, will be Risk Based Inspection. SGS supports its clients in developing a cost-effective inspection and maintenance program that provides assurance of mechanical integrity and reliablity in industrial plants.

Attendees will also have a unique chance to learn more about the Advanced Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Services offered by SGS. Based on its extenisve experience and competence, SGS can provide Non-Destructive Testing Services throughout an asset’s lifecycle, including the design, procurement and installation phase, as well as the operation of the asset.
