Sanmina-SCI Corporation , a leading manufacturing solutions company, today announced specialized services to help oil and gas companies be more competitive with scalable capacity near the world’s major exploration and production operations. Sanmina-SCI’s array of design, engineering and manufacturing services are being showcased at Booth # 531 during the Offshore Technology Conference in Houston, May 2-5.

During the conference, Sanmina-SCI will demonstrate its end-to-end manufacturing expertise, plus a range of complex and technical solutions that enable companies to reduce time to market without adding new facilities. Services and products on exhibit are precision machining, printed circuit board (PCB) assembly, wireless and data communication systems, enclosures for electronics systems, a variety of high-speed and custom cables, and electro-mechanical subassembly capabilities, among others.

“As oil and gas production continues to accelerate worldwide, companies must respond with manufacturing services and stable, but flexible, capacity close to their global locations, without requiring additional infrastructure,” said Randy Thomas, Sanmina-SCI’s vice president of business development.

Sanmina-SCI operates 70 manufacturing facilities with flexible, high-mix capacity in 18 countries on four continents, which provides oil and gas companies advanced components and systems to more effectively compete and stay ahead of technological change.

“Our decades of experience working with companies to develop and manufacture complex equipment, systems and electronics have enabled some of the world’s largest innovators to lead their markets,” Thomas said. “Oil and gas companies are looking for ways to take advantage of scalability while advancing their own technological capabilities.”

Sanmina-SCI builds systems with advanced technologies including high-speed data cables, miniature components, wireless systems, and other high-value engineering equipment oil and gas companies utilize for exploration and production, as well as solar and other clean technology systems.
