Sembcorp Marine announced that Mrs Lim Joke Mui, appointed a non-independent director on 24 November 2007, has stepped down as a Board member and a member of the Board’s Special Committee with effect from 6 May 2011 to pursue her personal interests.
Mr Koh Chiap Khiong, who was appointed an alternate director to Mrs Lim, will succeed her as a non-independent director to the Board of Sembcorp Marine as well as a member of the Board’s Special Committee with effect from 6 May 2011.
The Chairman and Board of Directors of Sembcorp Marine would like to place on record their heartfelt appreciation of Mrs Lim’s invaluable contributions during her tenure as a director and member of the Special Committee.
The Board of Directors would also like to take the opportunity to welcome Mr Koh Chiap Khiong to the Board. Mr Koh is the Group Chief Financial Officer of Sembcorp Industries and has extensive experience in finance, tax, treasury management and audit in various industries.
