Iran: Gas Processing Rises 5 Percent

Last year 146 billion cubic meters of processed gas were injected to the gas pipelines of the country, the manager of the coordination and supervision division at the National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC), Mr. Jamshididana announced here.

It’s worth mentioning that the figure show 5% growth compared with the same period last year, Iran’s SHANA news agency reported.

He went on to say that, South Pars Gas Complex had the largest share of processing gas by 44 percent of the figure.

Jamshididana said that Fajr Jam, Parsian, Hasheminejad gas processing plants injected 22, 19 and 9 percent respectively to the gas network. Sarkhon, Qeshm and Bidboland-2 gas processing plants supplied the rest.

“ Gas condensate production grew by 16 percent last year while LPG production increased by 22 percent “, he added.
