White Smoke AB and Frederiet AB have decided to join forces in the development of the world’s first LNG bunker vessel operation. All the future activities of the partners within the LNG bunkering business will be done through the jointly owned White Smoke Shipping AB.
Fredrik Grenestedt, the managing director of Frederiet AB :
“ Frederiet AB has for several years studied and analysed the development of the supply chain for LNG and other alternative ship fuels and has indentified it as an interesting growth area and a complement to the present shipping activities in Frederiet AB. After discussions with White Smoke it was obvious that cooperation in a joint effort would be able to offer more value to the market, which is still in its infancy .”
Johan Algell, Managing director of White Smoke Shipping AB :
“ We have for some time now searched for additional partners to White Smoke Shipping and we believe that Frederiet AB is a perfect match for us.
