Norway: Dolphin Geophysical Signs Seismic Acquisition Contract with LOTOS

Dolphin Geophysical AS has reached agreement with LOTOS Exploration & Production Norge AS, acting as Operator on behalf of the License Group in PL 503, for the acquisition of a 1563 square km of 3D Seismic in the North Sea.

The project will be acquired with Dolphin fleet’s recent addition, the M/V Artemis Arctic, which will commence operation in the end of May 2011.

M/V Artemis Arctic is the latest 3D addition to our rapidly expanding seismic fleet, and Dolphin is very pleased to be accepted to perform this work for LOTOS E&P Norge.

Atle Jacobsen, CEO of Dolphin commented; “Dolphin is very pleased to secure continued operation of the Artemis Arctic and to acquire this important program for LOTOS E&P Norge in the North Sea. We are fully committed to make Artemis Arctic an efficient and profitable Dolphin operated vessel and are pursuing additional contract opportunities to secure a longer term back-log for the vessel”.
