This year marks 25 years since Seaeye started in business. Since that time it has grown to become the world leader in design and manufacture of electric underwater vehicles. Innovations flowing from the company have transformed ROV performance and reliability with a number of key developments that have become industry standards.

These breakthrough technologies have included: brushless DC thrusters, polypropylene open frame design, carbon-fibre electric pods, distributed intelligence, 500v DC thrusters, 3000m 800 Hz power distribution, and the intelligent control of nodes (iCON).

During the 25 years, the company has sold over 500 ROVs throughout the world across a range of market sectors including the oil and gas industry, defence, law enforcement, hydro engineering, marine science, aquaculture and marine leisure.

To celebrate the event a Fun Day was organised at the Fareham factory, for staff and friends.
