Golar LNG Issues New Shares (Bermuda)

Golar LNG Limited has issued 5,551,180 new shares all of which have been subscribed for by World Shipholding Ltd, the Company’s largest shareholder. Golar LNG Limited has issued 5,551,180 new shares all of which have been subscribed for by World Shipholding Ltd, the Company’s largest shareholder.

The new shares represent settlement of the purchase price for World Shipholding Ltd’s 33,640,153 shares in Golar LNG Energy Limited which were acquired by Golar on 26 April, 2011.

The new shares will be tradable on the Oslo Stock Exchange when the prospectus currently under preparation by the Company has been approved by the Norwegian Financial Supervisory Authority. This is expected by the end of June.

The total number of outstanding shares in the Company is, following this issue, 79,801,953 shares.
