Shermco Industries, a leader in electrical maintenance for light, medium and heavy industrial trade, is currently performing electrical maintenance and testing work for an offshore oil platform off the coast of Equatorial Guinea.
Shermco won the Fortune 500 contract in March for a scope of work which includes general preventative maintenance for the electrical distribution systems of the platform.
“Electrical reliability is very important for the ensured safety, productivity and profitability of offshore oil platforms,” said Ron Widup, president of Shermco . “This is a contract for which we are well suited, and we really enjoy assisting the oil and petrochemical industry, doing so safely and reliably.”
